The Center for Improving Value in Health Care (CIVHC) examined trends in Vimovo and Duexis prescriptions from 2012-2016 using data from the Colorado All-Payer Claims Database (APCD). The price of both drugs has been increasing each year. Vimovo and Duexis are both combinations of drugs sold separately over-the-counter for a fraction of the price. Variation based on payer type and geographic region are considered.
