The Center for Improving Value in Healthcare (CIVHC) assessed the cost and utilization rates for intraoperative neuromonitoring using Colorado All-Payer Claims Database (APCD) data from 2013-2016. Differences in utilization and median claim payment differ among commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare payers. The median payment for Medicaid and Medicare was $100 and $110 respectively, while the median payment for commercial insurers reached $820 in 2016.
