The Arkansas APCD analyzed data correlations between the mean episode costs stratified by surgeons and the episode volume of bilateral cataract removal. The study found that the correlation between mean episode costs and episode volume is a significant positive correlation. This report is meant to be utilized by providers as a visual aid, showing how surgeon costs effect their volume of episodes.
