This study explores the shift in popularity of different commercial insurance products following the adoption of the ACA. Significant focus is given to Health Maintenance Organizations (HMOs), Preferred Provider Organizations (PPO's), and Point-of-Serivice (POS) plans. The study examines how this trend affects costs to consumers. It relies on data from the All Payer Claims Database (APCD) for the state of New Hampshire for the years 2009-2013.
