Minnesota Department of Health Seeks Consultant for MN APCD
The Minnesota Department of Health, Health Economics Program, is seeking a consultant to assess whether and how the Minnesota All Payer Claims Database (MN APCD) could strengthen value in the Minnesota Medicaid program. Improving value includes analyses that support the Minnesota Medicaid program’s overarching strategic goals and priorities, as identified by the Medicaid program. These could include, among other opportunities, providing relevant benchmarks on health care use or costs across the population, providing insights on metrics of quality of care, considering critical factors in waste and inefficiency in care delivery or variation of system performance across the state.
More information can be found in the MN APCD “Quick Call” RFP. Proposals are due May 24, 2019, and all questions regarding this procurement must be received by May 20, 2019. Please direct questions to Karl Fernstrom.
