An on-going project funded by the Commonwealth Fund is the creation of a State Resource Center for APCD Development. The project goals of this resource center are to: 

• Provide a summary of state APCD practices using a web-enabled map that highlights the status of APCD development by state.
• Create 6 Fact Sheets, each addressing a specific topic area of APCD development importance.
• Develop in-depth case studies into state experiences in APCD development, which likely include up-to-date assessments of where states are in development and highlighted case studies from states in different stages of development.
• Create a “Best Practices Guide” for the Technical Development of an APCD
• Perform a review of the multiple ways states have used or plan to use APCD data
